Five miles of fun to be exact, as families navigate their way around a five mile long orienteering course through the Pentland Hills, the perfect way to raise much needed funds for St Columba’s Hospice.

This year, The Nudge is free to enter, so either register in advance or simply turn up on the day.

Other activities to keep families occupied will include a gladiator duel, a giant slide and a bouncy castle as well as live music, all set against the scenic backdrop of the Pentland Hills.

Run by St Columba’s Hospice as part of their outdoor challenge event, The Push (a 14/20/ 26.2 mile walk or run across the Pentland Hills, depending on how brave you are feeling), The Nudge starts at 1pm.

Founded in 1977, St Columba’s Hospice provides specialist palliative care for patients in Edinburgh and the Lothians.

The Hospice includes a day hospice, in-patient unit and a community nursing team who provide care services to people in their homes.
