The much-loved Edinburgh-based tropical venue and club night are all geared up for their first ever NYE party.

The club’s resident DJ team will be going head to head with Glasgow’s Strawberry Jam Sound-system who bring over their expertly-honed rig for maximum bass pressure. The two teams will have a friendly face-off as they deliver the best in tropical beats, afrobeat, latin bass, samba, baile funk, cumbia, dancehall and other spicy flavours aimed squarely at the dance-floor.

The icing on top will be a live set from Sankofa Beats – a top troupe of West African percussion players and dancers.

Samedia Shebeen and Strawberry Jam annually collaborate on one of the most popular micro-venues at Boomtown Fair in Ovington, Richmond. Their mix of music, décor and impeccable soundsystem has long been a winner with the festival crowds there.

The Hogmanay Fiesta will be the first time that this ‘deadly combination’ has been experienced in the Capital. Looking for something a bit different to bring in 2020? This could well be a hot tip if you fancy a lively time.
