Funshine On Leith adds extra dates due to public demand

FUNSHINE on Leith, a highlight of this year’s Leith Comedy Festival, has announced new dates running throughout the month.

A comedy walking tour with a difference, the tour finds the comedy festival teaming up with Invisible Cities for what the only live comedy event being held in Edinburgh this August.

After the original date sold out, 10 new dates have been added. The new August dates are Thursday 20, 5pm, Saturday 22, 12 noon and 3pm, Sunday 23, 12 noon and 3pm, Thursday 27, 5pm, Saturday 29, 12 noon and 3pm and Sunday 30, 12 noon and 3pm.

A truly unique comedy event coming out of Leith, created by Leith for Leithers, Funshine on Leith is led by tour guide Paul, who has written the tour especially for Leith Comedy Festival.

During what is described as a ‘rich, colourful walking event’ he takes his guests on a journey around the Port, sharing historical curiosities, personal anecdotes and juicy details that will make your jaw drop.

Zakia Moulaoui Guery, founder of Invisible Cities says, “Paul is one of our most experienced Edinburgh guides and his work is constantly praised by five-star reviews online from our customers. He designed this tour specially for Leith Comedy Festival and it is nothing but different, thought provoking, fun and a bit outrageous.”
