Top five new destinations that you can fly to from Edinburgh this summer

The capital has announced 19 new routes, from city breaks to beach destinations within Europe and beyond

Top of the picks from these are:

Beijing, from £261

Announced in March this year, this route offers travellers a chance to fly direct from Edinburgh to China’s capital with Hainan Airlines. Available from June this year, Beijing is one of the six ancient cities in China, with seven UNESCO World Heritage sites to visit, including the gateway to the Great Wall.
