Man, 28, charged over 'hit and run' involving off-road motorcycle on Edinburgh road which left two women badly hurt

A 28-year-old man has been charged in connection with an alleged hit and run on an Edinburgh road.

Two women needed hospital treatment after the incident involving an off-road motorcycle mounting the pavement in Hay Avenue in Niddrie on March 22.

A police spokesperson said: “The man has been charged with road traffic offences and was due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday (Thursday, 27 August).”
