Smoke and flames spotted behind sports wear store
FIREFIGHTERS are battling a blaze this afternoon at an Edinburgh retail park.
Witnesses reported smoke and flames coming from a container behind the Decathlon store at Hermiston Gait.

Hide AdOne fire appliance was deployed shortly before 5pm with another called as back-up.

"It looked like staff have evacuated customers from the store," said a witness.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called to a large fire in an industrial waste container."
