Police dogs praised after 'puppy cuddles' persuaded vulnerable missing teenager down from A1 flyover

Two police dogs have been praised for coaxing a vulnerable missing teenager down from a flyover on the A1 using 'puppy cuddles'.
A vulnerable missing person was found by police on the A1 on Sunday night after an extensive police search.

Hide AdPD Tora and PD Loki were called to the scene and managed to coax the young man off the flyover 'with some puppy cuddles'.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland wrote on Twitter: "#PDTora was searching for a missing person when divisional officers found him on the flyover of the A1.
"#PDTora and #TPDLoki arrived and persuaded the male off the flyover with some puppy cuddles.
"Good job by all involved. #ItsOkNotToBeOk."
Police closed a section of the A1 for about two hours on Sunday night to search for the missing teenager and one other person.
A previous police helicopter search of Arthur's Seat had been unsuccessful in its search for the pair.
