A statement from organisers read: “Unfortunately, due to the worsening of the COVID-19 situation in Scotland and following government restrictions, Car Park Panto is unable go ahead at Edinburgh Airport this December.

"The Car Park Panto elves have been working tirelessly to try and make this work, but sadly drive-in events are not permitted in Tier 3 areas in Scotland.

"We are so sad not to be bringing the performance of Horrible Christmas to Edinburgh, especially as it's one of the Horrible Histories cast's favourite cities to visit.”

"Ticket holders will be automatically refunded to their original payment method.
