Tom Kitchin to cook along with Mary Berry on BBC show

The programme, which airs on BBC Two, showcases everyday recipes, food and ingredients that Mary has always loved to cook with.

In the latest instalment, which will be shown on Monday 22 February at 7pm, Mary travels to Scotland to enjoy the best of the Scottish larder with recipes inspired by her own Scots heritage.

The synopsis states: "She discovers wonderful shellfish in Ullapool, shares the joy of venison cooked on a barbecue with chef Tom Kitchin and whips up her special whisky cream on the banks of a loch."

Posting on his Instagram, Tom Kitchin shared a series of pictures taken during filming of Mary Berry Everyday.

The chef, whose The Kitchin restaurant retained its Michelin star for a fourteenth year this year looks dapper in a modern style kilt.

He wrote: I’m cooking with royalty tonight... Tune into ‘Mary Berry Everyday’, @bbctwo 7pm..."

Famous followers of the chef, including Ally McCoist and Kerry Bridges (wife of comedian Kevin Bridges) commented on the post with Ally writing 'love it mate' and Kerry replying 'can't wait'.
