My perfect weekend: Kenny Millar

1 Who would be your ideal weekend companion and why? Have to say my girlfriend, Jeni. Her patter’s pretty good for a Weegie.

2 Where would you take her and why? Arthur’s Seat. Great views of the city and it took us too long to climb up it last time. The tourists put us to shame.

3 Where would you go for breakfast, lunch and dinner? Breakfast would be a light one at Café Renroc to leave space for an all-out assault on Vittoria in Brunswick Street – the best Italian, bar none, in Edinburgh. Loch Fyne at Newhaven for dinner.

4 What item would you not be without? My diary. Every menial to major appointment or task gets written down in there. I’d be lost without it.

5 How would your weekend finish? With three points for my Sunday League team, Gotham City. I’m their sixth best left-back.
