Fire and colour takes over Calton Hill every year with the annual Beltane fire festival.

The festival celebrates the end of winter and the coming of summer, symbolised with the lighting of a ceremonial bonfire. This year's festival highlighted issues surrounding climate change, with some incredible sights throughout the night.
