Comedy preview: Punchlines, Usher Hall

COMEDY replaces concerts at the Usher Hall on Saturday when Punchline present another evening of laughs, featuring four of the UK’s top stand-ups.

Headliner for the evening is Nick Helm who will take you on a blood-spattered tour of duty through the carnage-filled battlefields of his love life.

He’s joined by Josh Widdicombe (you’ll know him when you see him), the cheeky and charming Roisin Conaty, who has a sharp eye for mini-revelations about universal subjects, and Greg Burns who you might remember from The Office Christmas Special.

Helm says, “I’m looking forward to the gig, certainly, but more importantly I’m looking forward to walking down the Royal Mile in less than an hour without being flyered and subjected to street theatre.”
