Occupation: Actor.

What school did you attend? Duddingston Primary and then Portobello High.

What sort of pupil were you? Good. I sang in the rock and jazz band school concerts.

Were your school days the best days of your life? Maybe not the best, but I had an amazing time at school.

What was your first job? Shop assistant.

What has been your most unusual job? Working for a strip club.

My biggest achievement so far has been . . . Travelling to Australia and New York.

My worst moment ever was . . . Nearly being arrested in Spain.

Three words that sum up my personality are . . . Stubborn, loyal, fun.

Favourite place in the world?

Apart from Edinburgh, New York City.

Three places in Edinburgh I could not live without are . . . Arthur’s Seat, Portobello Beach, my parents’ house.

Who is your best friend? Too many to mention.

Which TV show do you never miss? Glee is my guilty pleasure.

If you could bring one show to Edinburgh, what would it be?

I missed the National Theatre’s

One Man, Two Guvnors, so I’d say that.
