Fudge-flavoured tea: Luxury Edinburgh confectioners unveil partnership with PekoeTea

The blend of assam-leaf black tea and Scottish fudge marks the first time the family-run company has collaborated with another business in its 70-year history.

Hide AdSince making its debut on The Fudge House’s Instagram account, the new product has already garnered an enthusiastic response from followers.
Managing Director Giancarlo Di Sotto said, “Since each piece of our fudge is lovingly handcrafted, we’re always on the lookout for the best ways to showcase that quality.
“When PekoeTea approached us with the idea of making a tea using our fudge, we knew that the end result would be something really special,” he added.

Founded in 2010 by Jon Cooper, PekoeTea is a teashop that has previously created a range of high quality whisky-based loose leaf teas, known as the Whisky Collection.
Open since 1949, the family-run Fudge House of Edinburgh has sold its wares on the Royal Mile for 70 years.

Priced at £9.50, the tea is available now online here, and in store at The Fudge House and at Pekoetea - both in Edinburgh.
A small box of five pieces costs £11 plus p&p and a large box of ten pieces costs £17 plus p&p.
