All pubs and restaurants in the Central Belt are closed for two weeks from October 9 in a bid to prevent further spread of the coronavirus – but they are allowed to stay open for takeaway and delivery service.
So, we thought we would select a few of Edinburgh’s top hot deals in the city at the moment to share with you for when you’re next in the mood to treat yourself. And if you’re not one for self-love, try one of these anyway to give the hospitality trade some support!
5. Amber Rose
The Amber Rose in Castle Street is doing takeaway every weekend: Friday 12pm until 6pm, Saturday 12pm until 8pm and Sunday 12pm until 6pm. The pub has two pint containers of all draught products starting at £5 for 2 pints of Tennents, £10 takeaway cocktail jugs and munchie boxes from the kitchen including wings, chips, haggis balls and mozzarella sticks for £8. 6. Tuk Tuk Indian Street Food

7. Pomegranate

8. The Riccarton Inn
The Riccarton Inn is open for takeaway from Wednesday to Sunday, 4pm until 8pm. Pre-ordering is also an option - you can send a message to the pub using via its website or social media pages.
