New Aldi store due to open in Edinburgh next week
The new store, on Commercial Street, will bring nine new job opportunities to the area, and will open its doors for business at 8am.
Store Manager, Mark Nicol, will run the new Aldi along with a team of 20 colleagues from the local community.

Hide AdThe store will offer a range of fresh Scottish meat products including Aldi’s award-winning ‘Specially Selected’ range, which was recently voted ‘Favourite Premium
Supermarket Range’ by readers of Good Housekeeping magazine.
Exclusive Scottish Craft Beers, Wines and Spirits, and a ‘Food to Go’ section will also be available.
Edinburgh customers can shop some of the finest food and drink Scotland has to offer, as the new store will stock over 450 Scottish products from over 90 suppliers across the country, all selected for their exceptional taste, value and provenance.

Hide AdThis Aldi store isn’t the only new shop opening up in the capital amid the global pandemic with Edinburgh Mercantile offering ‘everything a home needs’ at their new Stockbridge shop.
Aldi Store Manager, Mark Nicol said: “We’re really looking forward to opening the new store here in Edinburgh. It’s set to be a great day and it’ll be lovely to welcome our new
customers into the store and provide them with access to affordable, high-quality food.”
The new Aldi store is calling on local charities and food banks in Edinburgh to register with Neighbourly, a community engagement platform that links businesses to charitable organisations in the local community.

Hide AdLocal charities that register will be able to collect surplus food and perishable products, such as fruit, vegetables and baked goods, up to five days a week.

The new store will be located on Commercial Street in Leith and will be open Monday through Saturday 8am until 10pm and Sunday from 9am until 8pm
