Despite guising being discouraged due to a recent surge in coronavirus cases, families been going all out at their homes to make the most of the festive period.
We thought we would gather together a few pictures showing some of the more out-there and eccentric homes spotted around Scotland this year.
5. Jordanhill, Glasgow
With a sign saying Brig o Doom in the garden, it's clear these residents are getting into the Halloween spirit. Quite a few homes in Jordanhill in Glasgow are going for it this year, but this one stood out with its creepy graveyard and skulls on sticks (are they laughing?). Photo: JPI Media
6. Jordanhill, Glasgow
Couldn't leave Jordanhill without this one grabbing your attention though with what looks like some creepy form of the tickle monster flashing its terrifyingly long arms in the window. Photo: JPI Media
7. Hemingway's in Leith
Hemingway's in Leith has recently been made to close, along with all other pubs, bars and restaurants in the Central Belt due to the latest coronavirus restrictions. But the staff haven't let that kill the festive spirit. Photo: Lisa Ferguson/JPI Media
8. Starbank Park, Edinburgh
Starbank Park in Edinburgh has a few things creeping up through the earth that might scare a dog walker or two. Next time you're having a wander in the area, you can admire the hanging heads and protruding arms, or just run away, they won't judge. Photo: JPI Media
