Edinburgh exec development firm co-founded by Scotland rugby legend David Sole seals new partnership
The School for CEOs, the Edinburgh-based executive development specialist co-founded by Scotland rugby legend David Sole, has sealed a major new partnership.
The consultancy, which was founded by Sole and Patrick Macdonald in 2011, has been appointed the exclusive educational partner to Winmark’s global CEO network. It will work with Winmark to extend membership of its network and support chief executives by providing access to an exclusive global peer network.
Winmark is a network organisation that fosters relationships and collaboration between more than 700 organisations globally, creates best practices and provides access to insights. Members include some 2,500 leaders from major FTSE and Fortune companies, including Google, Vodafone, ITV and Unilever.
Sole, who is managing partner at School for CEOs, said: “We are looking forward to working with Winmark, bringing our expertise in executive development, coaching and inclusive leadership to a wider audience of CEOs to help them respond to the challenges they face.”
John Jeffcock, chief executive of Winmark, added: “The corporate landscape has definitely shifted over the past 12 months and there is an increasing appetite for development, collaboration and knowledge sharing across the C-suite and industries.
“We’re delighted to be working with School for CEOs to extend the network and support leadership teams in 2021 and beyond.”
School for CEOs was established with the purpose of creating a programme to support leaders as they transition into the role of chief executive and other senior roles in organisations by offering practical lessons for immediate use. Winmark is well regarded for its management research that provides C-suite executives with intelligence.
