Thousands of stores inside shopping centres across the Capital will reopen as restrictions on non-essential retail lift next week.

Some shopping centres in Edinburgh have remained open throughout lockdown, but only for access to essential retail inside including supermarkets and pharmacists.

But from Monday, customers will be able to return to all stores as non-essential retail has been given the green light to reopen after months of closure.

Here are Monday’s opening times for some of Edinburgh’s shopping centres:

Waverley Mall

The city centre shopping mall in Edinburgh’s Waveley station will reopen under normal opening times at 10am and close at 6pm.

Cameron Toll

Cameron Toll in Lady Road has been open throughout the pandemic from 7.30am until 7pm for access to essential retail inside, including supermarkets Sainsbury’s and Aldi.

A spokesman from the centre said all non-essential shops will reopen on Monday, but the timings will vary depending on each business.

Gyle Shopping Centre

Gyle Shopping Centre in Gyle Avenue will reopen during its normal hours from 9am until 8pm.

Ocean Terminal

Ocean Terminal in Ocean Drive has been open during lockdown for access to essential retail, including M&S, but as of Monday, it will be welcoming back customers to all of its stores from 10am until 8pm.
