Innis & Gunn ties up two-year Flavourly deal as online beer sales leap 900%
Brewer Innis & Gunn is looking to meet “rapidly growing” online demand after cheering a new partnership with Flavourly, the craft beer specialist.
Over the last 12 months, demand from locked-down drinkers to buy Innis & Gunn’s beers direct from its online shop has risen sharply, with sales up by 900 per cent, year on year.
The two-year deal will see Flavourly pick, pack and dispatch orders through its “Fulfilled by Flavourly” model. Edinburgh-headquartered Innis & Gunn said it would continue to manage communication with customers and run its own website alongside the new tie-up.
Crawford Sinclair, commercial director at Innis & Gunn, said: “Flavourly are the perfect partner to support Innis & Gunn and our drinkers as our online sales channel continues to grow.
“The last year has been phenomenal for our online shop, with sales up over 900 per cent and we have invested in our e-commerce strategy to support this shopping trend and better serve our drinkers.
“Flavourly share the same passion for beer that we do and bring years of experience and expertise, which will elevate both our service and offering.”
Flavourly chief executive Ali Stewart added: “Our Fulfilled by Flavourly model is the ideal way for Innis & Gunn to meet the increased demand for their online shop and we’re really pleased to have been appointed as their fulfilment partner.”
Innis & Gunn, which was founded in 2003, has established a reputation for its whisky cask matured ales, with a loyal following among beer lovers at home and overseas.
