Late-night trains during Edinburgh Festival

TRAINS will leave the Capital after midnight during the Festival, ScotRail has confirmed.

A new timetable will begin on Friday, but will fully kick-in from Monday. The last train from Edinburgh to Glasgow will now leave at 12.30am – an hour later than usual, while more services will connect the cities during the day.

There will also be extra night-time trains to North Berwick, Garscadden, Glenrothes, Dunfermline and Dundee.
