Law firm Gillespie Macandrew delivers eighth consecutive year of growth

Scottish legal firm Gillespie Macandrew has given a bullish forecast after delivering an eighth consecutive year of growth.

Financial results for the year ending 28 February 2020 reveal an increase in revenue to £14 million. This represents an rise in turnover of 8 per cent and follows similar growth in each of the last four years.

The firm, which has offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth, said its year-end cash position improved to £1.4m. It pointed to further success during the year with its “training academy”.

Chief executive Robert Graham-Campbell said: “We have delivered another set of strong financial results while continuing to invest in the business. Most significantly this included adding the Scottish private client team from Clyde & Co.

“While the economic outlook has changed considerably since the year end with the advent of Covid-19, the sector focus of our business and our strong financial position at the outset of the pandemic gives me confidence that we can meet the challenges ahead.”
