Wetherspoon add quinoa salad and smashed avocado to Edinburgh menu
The pubs have also increased their range of gourmet burgers and hot dogs.
A New York deli burger (6oz beef patty, pastrami, mustard mayo, gherkin) as well as an Empire State burger (two 6oz beef patties, American cheese slices, maple-cured bacon) are now on offer, made from 100 per cent British beef.

Hide AdTwo new hot dogs have also been added to the menu; State dog (Monterey Jack cheese & pepper sauce, maple-cured bacon, gherkin, crispy onion) as well as Bombay dog (curry sauce, tomato, onion, coriander, crispy onion).
Two new bagels are also available; New York-style pastrami bagel (mustard mayo, rocket, gherkin) and Smashed avocado bagel (tomato, onion, coriander).
The Quinoa salad features quinoa, rice, avocado, adzuki beans, grilled red and yellow pepper, red cabbage, chia seeds, kale, dressing.
It can be served on its own or with either pulled chicken or grilled halloumi.
