As Edinburgh schools reopened their doors again after five months of lockdown, parents, families and guardians eagerly grabbed their camera to capture the moment.
We were inundated with hundreds and hundreds of pictures of happy and excited children ready to return to school.
The Edinburgh Evening News would like to wish everyone who was back at school this week, or will be going back to school soon the best of luck – have an amazing time.
