Pupils were joined by Morag Idan from Prostate Cancer Scotland, who accepted a cheque for £1130.49, with the same amount due to be given to Teenage Cancer Trust, who were unable to attend the handover .

The senior P refects at Newbattle High School decided to fundraise after hearing the news last year that former headteacher Colin Taylor had been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer.
