West Calder High School pupils in Parliament visit

The visit, organised through the UK Parliament’s Education and Engagement Team, gave students the opportunity to learn more about democracy, politics, and the role of MPs. During a Q&A session in the Education Centre, Gregor spoke with the students about his work representing the Livingston constituency in Westminster and answered their questions about the political process.

Mr Poynton said: "It was a pleasure to meet with the pupils and teachers from West Calder High School and hear their thoughts on politics and democracy.

“Visits like these are a great way for young people to see Parliament in action, ask questions about how decisions are made, and understand the role of MPs in representing their communities.
