The Scottish Government statistics, published at 2pm on Friday, also showed there have been no more deaths for people with the virus. It means the death toll by this measure remains at 2,496.
But weekly data from the National Records of Scotland says 4,228 people have died to date where the virus was mentioned on the death certificate, as of Sunday August 30.

Hide AdA total of 73 of the new cases in the past 24 hours have been recorded in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde health board area.
There were 17 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in NHS Lothian.
And there have been 13 more confirmed cases in NHS Highland, while 10 new coronavirus cases confirmed in NHS Ayrshire and Arran.
The 159 new coronavirus cases in Scotland in the past 24 hours represents 1.6 per cent of all people who have been newly tested.
On Thursday, there were 101 new coronavirus cases confirmed in Scotland in the previous 24 hours.

Hide AdSpeaking during her daily briefing yesterday, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said the R number - the average number of people estimated to be infected by one other infectious person - is now "probably" above one and possibly as high as 1.4.
She stressed that the virus prevalence in Scotland remains low but should serve as a reminder that the virus is "spreading again here," just as it is elsewhere in the UK, across Europe and the wider world.
