Seven new deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours after two days with none.
Nicola Sturgeon has said that she is ‘optimistic’ that the country can enter phase two of lockdown easing next week, though has still urged caution.
The First Minister has reminded the public to continue to follow the guidelines to ensure that the virus doesn’t run out of control.
