In total, Scotland has recorded 1,303 new cases of coronavirus since yesterday.

Of the new cases, 155 were in the lothians, 437 were confirmed in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, 341 in Lanarkshire and 132 in Ayrshire and Arran.

The remaining were reported from the nine other health boards across the country.

86 people are in intensive care with the virus, an increase of two since yesterday.

1,016 people are in hospital with confirmed coronavirus, this is more than double the figure recorded two weeks ago.

In total, 56,752 people have tested positive for coronavirus Scotland since the start of the pandemic.
