Coronavirus: Number of cases in Edinburgh and Lothians rise by 55

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Edinburgh and the Lothians have risen by 55 to 1,399 since Sunday.

The latest figures released by the Scottish Government at 2pm on Monday show that 268 patients are being treated at hospitals in the Lothians, with a further 27 in intensive care.

Nationally, 8,450 people have now tested positive for the virus.
