Hungry Edinburgh residents are now able to seek out which of their local pubs, restaurants and cafes will be participating in the ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme that is launching on August 3.
The scheme is in place to encourage people to support local businesses by giving a government backed discount.
As it stands, more than 32,000 establishments across the UK have signed up to the scheme, including hundreds across Edinburgh.
There is no limit to how many times people can use the scheme throughout August and the discount can be as high as £10 a head.
