85 students and staff at St Andrews University test positive for COVID

The figure covers the period from September 1-November 5.

NHS Fife said its health protection team was working closely with the university to prevent further infection.

While there is evidence of a potential link between some cases, this figure also includes some sporadic cases which have resulted from prolonged close contact with positive cases out with the Fife Health Board area.
