Coronavirus in Lothians: Just under 100 cases reported in the Lothians as country's death toll rises

The latest Scottish Government figures show that the number of positive cases of coronavirus in the Lothians has risen by 96.

There have been 1,049 cases of Covid-19 reported in the last 24 hours across all of Scotland.

2,101 patients are in hospital and 149 in intensive care.

There have been 87 deaths recorded of people who have tested positive.

The Scottish Government has also reported that 437,900 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination.

6,060 have received their second dose.
