Coronavirus in Scotland: 103 cases in the Lothians as country records 41 new deaths

A total of 103 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the Lothians in the last 24 hours as Scotland confirms 41 newly recorded deaths.

Across the country as a whole, 572 people have tested positive for Covid-19 since yesterday bringing the total number of positive cases in the country since the start of the pandemic to 110,612.

According to the latest figures, 53 people were in intensive care yesterday with recently confirmed Covid-19 while 1,033 are being treated in hospital having tested positive for the virus.
