There are 122 people in hospital with the virus, and 16 patients in intensive care.

No deaths were reported.

The weekend saw over 1,000 positive cases of the virus confirmed, with Saturday alone reporting over 700.

The First Minister has warned that the weekend may have made the results lower than expected, but as 222 was dramatically lower that previously though, Ms Sturgeon has asked Public Health Scotland to look again at the figures.
