Coronavirus in Scotland: 49 new cases reported across Scotland

The number of people who have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Scotland has risen by 49 according to the Scottish Government.

Nicola Sturgeon gave an update on Tuesday where she also reported that there were 254 patients in hospital with the virus, and three people in intensive care.

There have been no reported deaths from coronavirus in the past 24 hours.

The last reported death from the virus under the Scottish Government measurements was on July 16.
