The Scottish Government has released the latest coronavirus statistics from across the country.

There have been 934 new cases of coronavirus reported in the last 24 hours.

The government added that an issue with data transfer from NHS Grampian and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde may have affected the testing figures.

The high increase in cases from yesterday (572) may be due to a “catch up of a backlog of data.”

Three deaths have been registered of people who tested positive with the virus.

It should be noted that Register Offices are generally closed at the weekend.
