Over 170 people in Scotland have now tested positive.

A further 18 Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in Scotland bringing the total to 171.

Greater Glasgow and Clyde is currently the most affected region in Scotland with 44 confirmed cases – Lothian is the second worst hit region of the country with 29 positive cases. Orkney and Western Isles are the only two health boards to not report any cases.

A number of schools in the country have closed amid coronavirus fears.
