Coronavirus in the Lothians: 139 new cases reported in the Lothian area

The Scottish Government has released the latest coronavirus data from across the country.

There are 139 new cases of coronavirus reported in the NHS Lothian area in the last 24 hours.

Across Scotland, 773 new cases have been identified.

There are 1,383 patients in hospital in the country, and 100 in intensive care.

49 deaths have been recorded of those who have tested positive in Scotland and 1,288,004 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination with 17,137 having received their second dose.
