Alison Johnstone calls for more tests of front line health workers

Sturgeon: Scot Gov has already increased testing. Don't want negative tests to become false assurance. Just because somebody tests negative, does not mean they will not catch the virus. 

Sturgeon: The test is not 100% reliable for those who do not have symptoms.

Sturgeon: "We are trying to make sure we are doing everything we can"

The Scottish Labour leader claims there has been little testing in care homes, despite medical advice to do so. 

Nicola Sturgeon has stated that there is no guarantee that the country will start coming out of lockdown after the next review on May 7.

The First Minister states that Scotland will not be coming out of lockdown prematurely as it would be '"disastrous".

Jackson Carlaw has asked whether the Government will publish the Care Inspectorate figures on care home deaths.

Nicola Sturgeon claims that deaths will only be released when the patient has tested positive or coronavirus has been referred to on the death certificate. 

NS: “Fear that there is lurking somewhere” some unreported deaths is not based in fact.
