Council to deliver hundreds of baby supply packs to vulnerable families

Edinburgh City Council will deliver hundreds of baby supply packs to vulnerable families in the city over the coming days.
The packs will include milk, baby food jars, nappies and cereal, as well as baby skincare products.

Hide AdThey are aimed at families with children under the age of two, who struggling financially due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The council has already made contact with everyone expected to receive a parcel.
Some 300 parcels have already been distributed to families with children under five last week.
Depute Leader Cammy Day said: “Many families are struggling financially with parents out of work so it’s vital we do everything we can to help and these items are going to support them at a time when they are most in need.
