These are the 12 area of Edinburgh that recorded the highest numbers of positive Covid-19 tests in the last 7 days
New data released by the Scottish Government today break down the number of positive covid-19 cases in each area of the City of Edinburgh.

The new data shows that the highest numbers recorded of positive cases are from some the most densely populated areas of the city, with the highest number recorded in the Newington and Dalkeith area at 189 new cases.
The data was recorded between September 27 and October 3 2020.
