Coronavirus in Edinburgh: Capital wakes up as mainland Scotland enters the first phase of the route out of lockdown

It’s finally come to that time where drinkers can start hitting the pubs again for a pint outdoors.

Up to six people from two households are allowed to meet inside pubs, provided they are not drinking alcohol.

But if you do fancy a pint, you can still go to the pub, you just have to sit outside. Up to six people from six different households are allowed to meet in outdoor drinking and eating areas.

Edinburgh reopening: Queues around the block as customers flock to the shops

Edinburgh is back in business and shoppers have been out showing their support for traders as non-essential retail reopens across the city.
