Coronavirus in Edinburgh: Capital wakes up as mainland Scotland enters the first phase of the route out of lockdown

The Met Office have warned that there is a 60% chance of rain at 2pm this afternoon.

The temperature will sit around 11C but they warn it will feel more like 8C.

It will get rather windy around 3pm with wind gust reaching 34 mph at its height.

The day we have all been looking forward to is finally upon us as lockdown restrictions finally begin to ease and Edinburgh can welcome back visitors and locals alike to discover new attractions, shops, and hospitality in the Capital.
