Gary Tank Commander urges public to ‘stay in the hoose’ in hilarious video

Gary Tank Commander has issued an announcement to urge people to “stay in the hoose” during the coronavirus lockdown.

The much-loved TV funnyman - played by Edinburgh-born comedy actor Greg McHugh - used a night vision camera to film a Twitter video in a bid to warn the public of a battle with an “invisible enemy”.

In the clip, filmed in partnership with the Scottish Government, Gary says: "Hiya. Listen, it's me, Garreh. We all ken what's kicked off, right. Seriousleh... we're in the middle of a battle with an invisible enemy, that's right.

“Ever tried to have a fight with someone who isnae there? Exactly, it's really difficult."

He adds: “Dinnae go to illegal karaoke parties, dinnae go to hoose parties, dinnae go see your pals.

"STAY. IN. THE. HOOSE. That's it."
