Edinburgh was a shadow of its former self today as residents marked the first Saturday of the coronavirus lockdown.

Streets were near deserted as the public followed government advice to 'stay at home', leaving main thoroughfares and green spaces uncharacteristically quiet. Pictures by Scott Louden.
