Coronavirus in Edinburgh: The Capital reopens its doors to delighted residents in pictures

Monday saw the Capital reopen many doors for the first time to the delight of residents, who came out – despite the weather – to make the most of it.

As Edinburgh and the Lothians moved down to level two, pubs could serve alcohol indoors, bingo halls, cinemas and theatres opened and locals definitely made the most of it.

After months of the latest coronavirus lockdown, these next few cautious steps were like a breath of fresh air.
