She told MSPs that new data showing how vaccinations were helping to “significantly” reduce the transmission of coronavirus gave ministers “greater confidence” to create “a firmer indicative timeline for lifting restrictions.”
Ms Sturgeon said: “We expect hairdresser and barber salons to reopen for appointments on 5 April,” along with click and collect retail services, homeware stores, garden centres and other non-essential retail.
