Montpeliers bar reopening after staff tests for coronavirus come back negative

Montpeliers is ready to welcome back customers after closing its door when a staff member tested positive for Covid-19.
As reported in the Evening News, owners at the famous Bruntsfield brasserie wrote an open letter to customers on Sunday afternoon (August 30), explaining they would close for 24 hours while all staff underwent testing and the building was deep cleaned.

Hide AdNow, Montpeliers have announced they will reopen for business on Wednesday (September 2) after tests came back negative.
In a post on Facebook, management wrote: “All our team have been tested and all have come back negative. However any individual that has been classed as a ‘contact’ will be isolating for 14 days.
“There will be some new faces in Montpeliers from tomorrow, all very keen and eager to meet the Bruntsfield locals.
“Just to reiterate, all areas of the business have been deep cleaned and treated so that we are 100% clean and fully prepared for reopening.”
