A Leith Walk bar has closed after a customer tested positive for coronavirus over the weekend.
The Mousetrap announced the closure on Thursday evening after being told that a customer who was in the bar on Saturday 29 August had tested positive for the virus and advised that all staff members would be tested and the bar would undergo a deep cleaning during the closure.

In a Facebook post, owners of the bar wrote: “So. the inevitable happened…
"We’ve had the Covid Team come in and give us a heads up that a customer from Saturday night has tested positive for coronavirus.
"We’ve been told that we don’t have to close, and have also been advised that the staff should be safe as our procedures are spot on.
"This being said, we would like to close as a precaution.
